Sustainable Perfumery: Why Raw Material Choices Matter

90% of the world's patchouli production comes from Indonesia and is directly linked to deforestation. About 70% of oud trees — the Aquilaria species, raw material of real oud — are endangered. The perfume industry creates far greater ecological pressure than it appears.

MOJ & Dreams' Approach

In all our formulations, raw material selection is made within ethical and sustainability criteria. Instead of threatened botanical raw materials on the CITES list, biotechnology-produced equivalents are used — without compromising scent quality.

Packaging and Waste

Our glass bottles are refillable. Outer packaging is made from 100% recyclable or biodegradable materials. Soy-based inks are used in box production.

Sustainable perfumery is not a contradiction between luxury and responsibility. On the contrary, it is the definition of true luxury.
